Father's Day Essay Contest
AnglersResource.org is proud to present the Father's day essay contest. The contest is simple, you will need to write an essay about the best fishing experience you have had with your dad, and why it had such an impact on you. A simple 5-paragraph essay is plenty, however there are no length restorations.
The essay can be fictional or real – we encourage kids to use their imagination. The judges will be looking for the essays that grab their attention the most.
Use the form below to write the essay (you can copy and paste into the form if you want to). The judges will select the top 5 Essays and we will then post them on the website and let the users vote for the winner.
The winner will receive a fishing prize pack consisting of fishing equipment for them and their father. (details coming soon)
Entries will be accepted until May 28th, 2008. After all the entries have been received our judges will pick 5 essays to be posted on June 1st, 2008. From June 1 – June 10th, 2008 voting will take place online. At the end of the day on June 10th, the essay with the most votes wins, and will be notified via email.
Anyone can participate in this contest as long as the essay is about the best fishing experience you have had with your dad. Good Luck and Happy Father’s Day!
